Things to see

In Momochi Seaside Park and Kashiihama Beach you can see white sand carpet and beautiful sunset. You can see kinds of flora and fauna in Uminonakamichi Park and Zoological Garden. While visiting Fukuoka in the summer, vacate your time a while to go to Ohori Koen to see Hanabi (firework show usually held between July-September). In Fukuoka City Museum, you can find the history of this city from time to time.

Come to Tenjin where you can shop, seek for entertainment and hang-out while enjoying coffee or foods. Still in Tenjin, you can try to get on Ferris Wheel in Mariona City to see Fukuoka from above. Tonkotsu Ramen is a famous food in Fukuoka. Tonkutsu Ramen in Fukuoka is usually served with thin noodle, boiled pork belly, pickled red ginger and garlic. Mentaiko is a famous small fish egg in Fukuoka. There's also Yakitori, a sliced chicken seasoned with salt and soy sauce then roasted with charcoal.
