Information about KA Purwojaya

Kereta Api Purwojaya travels between Jakarta (GMR) and Cilacap (CP).

Purwojaya train is an express train with business and executive class serving Cilacap-Purwokerto-Jakarta Gambir route and vice versa. Journey from Cilacap is done at night, while from Jakarta is done during the day. The journey takes for about six hours with a distance of about 444 km. This train was first launched in March 1995.

Purwojaya train consists of five business-class carriages, three to four executive class carriages, a dining carriage and one generator carriage. Purwojaya has train numbers of KA 71 and KA 72.

Purwojaya train will only stop at some stations: Gumilir Station, Maos Station, Kroya Station, Purwokerto Station and Jatinegara Station.
